Marlang Opts Out of King Eddie

TTTI was told by trainer Debbie England today that Marlang will scratch out of the King Edward Handicap tomorrow. Instead, the '08 Breeders' Stakes winner will race in an allowance event going a mile on the E.P. Taylor turf course this Sunday at Woodbine. Apparently the outfit is looking for an easier spot to start off Marlang's '09 campaign. Sunday's stakes will be posted tomorrow night. And here is the rest of it.
