Stakes Schedule for May 2009

There are eleven stakes on board for the month of May at Woodbine Racetrack. There will be four graded stakes events, including two on the E.P. Taylor turf course later in the month.

Sunday May 3rd - Fury Stakes, $150,000 Guaranteed. (For Three-Year-Old Fillies, Foaled in Ontario, Seven Furlongs.)

Saturday May 9th - New Providence Stakes (An Ontario Sire Stakes), $125,000 Guaranteed. (For Three-Year-Olds & Upward, Six Furlongs.)

Sunday May 10th - Hendrie Stakes Gr.III, $150,000 Guaranteed. (For Fillies & Mares, Four-Year-Olds & Upward, Six & One-Half Furlongs.)

Saturday May 16th - Marine Stakes, $150,000 Guaranteed. (For Three-Year-Olds, One Mile & One-Sixteenth.)
